Hooking A Reporter: Today 1pm: TuneUp Office Hour

Hello,

Today's Office Hour link has been posted. Yesterday Tin Shingle's owner Katie spent the day reporting locally outside in the freezing cold, gathering research about the prison employee strike here in New York State, specifically Beacon, NY, that happened alongside Rte. 52, as the corrections officers stood near big-log bonfires holding their posters and shielding their faces from being identified, our of fear of retaliation from their union.

It was a fast article to write and research in order to give their demands context as NY's Governor called in the National Guard and demanded they stop striking.

We can talk about how you pitch the media for a last minute article, and what bullet points to include to hook your intended reporter, editor or photo journalist, in this members-only Office Hours TuneUp.

Activate your membership if you haven't already to join the call.

See you soon.
