TELL US ABOUT IT…
Step 1: Show Yourself! Business Directory Listing
Tin Shingle’s platform makes space for you and your businesses to be represented on our website to our readership in our Business Directory. If you have more than one business, you can create up to 5 business profiles. If you are a Communications Director who joined on behalf of a company, please make sure the owner’s name is listed in the Business profile. In the Google Group, we will talk to you and know your name. If you don’t see a category in the Business Directory that fits your business, please let us know and we will add one!
Please Note: If you are a PR professional, please do not list your clients here. They need to purchase their own memberships in order to be represented. Love ya!
If you’re really interested, we can discuss a Listing-Only type membership for them.
Step 2: List Your Product or Service In The Shopping Guides
These Shopping Guides are public facing pages, but only members of Tin Shingle get to be featured in them. If you don’t see a Guide that fits what you got, please reach out so that we can create something for you.
Please Note: If you are a PR professional, please do not list your clients here. They need to purchase their own memberships in order to be represented. Love ya!

Step 3: Start Binging Those TuneUps!
Ready to dig in? Get your notepad out! We have years and years worth of TuneUps.
Oftentimes, they cover topics that are still relevant today. Because Tin Shingle takes a holistic approach to getting PR, we make you look at other aspects of your business. When the media is considering doing a story on you, they will look at your website, your social, and they will factor in how it has been to converse with you (ie are you nice, polite and gracious? or are you demanding, cranky and entitled.)
What you start watching really depends on your business and what you need. Below is only a sampling of where to start. Do dive in to other titles, not just these. See the full list here.

Step 4: Mark Your Calendar For Wednesdays
For many years, Katie live-broadcasted TuneUp webinars, and made the recordings available to Tin Shingle members for free. After the pandemic and Remote Learning, time got reduced, and these TuneUps got switched into Office Hours, were you can come in a group-training session to ask your questions. There is no theme - it’s just what you need for the moment. See the TuneUp page for the current time and registration link. For the registration link, usually you sign up once, and then are hooked in to several Office Hours without needing to re-register.
Step 5: Introduce Yourself In The Google Group
We really want to hear from you! If you don’t hear anything back right away, it’s because sometimes people miss an email. Please use this group if you are stumped, excited, or would like to run a pitch email draft by everyone for thoughts. If you are not comfortable sharing drafts or questions in the Google Group, you can book a Private Training Session with Katie at a 25% discount. When you activate your membership, you will receive an email from Teslie Andrade, our Project Manager, inviting you into the group.
Please know, your questions are our favorite parts of knowing you! Only you have the experiences you have, and sometimes, we have the answers as to why they are happening to you. Ask your questions in the Google Group!
